  • Goal: Provide basic theory in genetic evaluation using whole genome data and applying it to practical data analyses.

  • Outline: Bayesian inference (computing posteriors, Gibbs-, MH-sampler), application to genome analysis (Bayes A, B, C, RR-BLUP, single step), validation and interpretation of results, exercises based on Julia (, Julia source code for Bayesian regression models will be made available for participants.
